EF34 11:00 June 2

Good morning, everybody.

We will get started at 11:00.

Cameras on. Mics muted.

Today’s agenda:

1.    Midterm recommendations and summer registration

2.    Test#2 Narrative paragraph

Registration for summer began today.

You can get your midterm recommendation from me. Email me.

A few people emailed asking for their midterm recommendation.

MY RESPONSE:

Hello,

The midterm mark is an average of the marked work we have done so far.

The cutoff average for early registration for next term is 65%.

The final passmark for the class is 50%.

Your midterm mark is 68%.

You should register for the next level.

OR

Your midterm mark is 54%.

You should not register for the next level yet.

I will answer any questions tomorrow in class.

Best,

Al

Midterm recommendations to go to the next level are for students who are doing well in the class: 65% and above.

If you have 65% and below, you can still pass the class. The final passmark is 50%. You just won’t get an early recommendation.

Some student have emailed me for their midterm recommendation.

No name, no class, not time in the subject line.

I have asked enough times for this information to be put in the subject line.
