We are on track to write 6 quizzes, 6 tests, 1 essay

Let me know what you think: Should we push for more paragraph tests, or will 6 be enough?

 Combine these bits of information all together into one sentence.

What kind of sentence do we want? gut feeling- simple compound complex?

‘in a state’ idiom – very messy, very upset

“Emiko was in a state when her boyfriend broke up with her.”

We were preparing for the second performance of our play, and/so the dressing room was in a state.

We can practice writing a wide variety of sentences. You need the practice.

 

Serena Williams is arguably the best tennis in the world. She still hits the ball hundreds of time a day for practice.

 

 

Try some of these for homework:
