adj cl comes after the noun it is describing, keep it right next to it

 

Kathy has a dog who is my sister. XXX misplaced modifier

Kathy who is my sister has a dog.

 

Misplaced modifiers are confusing and make the sentence not make sense.

 

Examples:

The old man saw a cat who was riding a bicycle. XXX MM
