3 sentence types - we have to know these

SIMPLE - basic style
Subject Verb
It is rianing today.

SSV
You and I are good friends.

SVV
The little kids play and sing.

SSS    VVV
Your sister, your mother and you go downtown, have lunch and go shopping.

COMMAND - imperative 
(You) Sit down.
(You) Be careful!
(You) Call me.


COMPOUND
2 simple sentences joined together 

I like coffee. She likes tea. 2 simples

JOIN THEM TO MAKE COMPOUND
I like coffee, and she likes tea.
SV , and SV.

I like coffee and she likes tea. XXX

7 coordinating conjunctions:
for and nor but or yet so      FANBOYS

Bad advice!! Several of these we never use.
