My opinion: We are so happy to live in Canada that we can’t wait to celebrate, especially considering the mood in the US right now.

PARALLELISM

A few examples of parallelism within sentences:

EASIER EXERCISES

Try some for homework: a few easier and a few harder one.

The sentences sound better, smoother, more beautiful when elements are parallel. This is not beginning-level stuff. This is higher-level writing style.
