PLOT
1. Plot is the sequence of related events or actions in a story. A plot can usually be broken down into a traditional five-part plot structure. These parts of the plotline are as follows:
1. exposition – ‘expose’, to show, to reveal- an introduction to the main characters, settings, and situations of the plot
2. rising action - the events and complications that lead to an important and dramatic point in the plot, story starts to build in tension
3. climax - the point of greatest interest and emotional involvement in the plot
4. falling action - the events that develop from the climax and lead to the conclusion
5. resolution or denouement - the final outcome which ties up any loose ends left in the story
This structure of the plotline can be depicted as a lopsided pyramid, with two base lines.

It’s not just the grammar. It’s about the meaning that you wish to convey.

SIMPLE sentences can be more challenging.
