Good morning, everyone.

We will get started at 9:15

 

Monday is a holiday- Victoria Day, Monday, May 20th.

No school on Monday. It will be a long weekend. It will be a three-day weekend.

 

 

I have been teaching at SHEC since 1993, 31 years.

Before that, I was a teacher at UBC for two years.

Before that I was a teacher in Japan for two years.

I love it! This is the best job in the world.

I went back to university three times

Exercise 4 – Positive and negative sentences

Let’s practice writing some sentences that have simple present verb tense.

You can think some from your imagination.

Use the verb ‘to be’.

Also, use other verbs.

Example:

I am a father. simple present

I like to play with my kids. simple present

We ride out bikes in the park. simple present

 

We are hanging hang out my friends at home.

 

Focus on simple present for now.

 

Your sentences:

I like my class.

I like shopping.

He likes his math class.

I go to bed very late.

I work in a big company.

tough- hard to get your teeth through the meat

tender- easy to get your teeth through the meat

 

You can marinate meat in liquid and spices overnight.
