This is the 11:00 English Foundations 7 / English 10 class.

We will begin at 11:00.

 

Split class – English 10 (Composition 10 and Literary Studies 10)  and English Foundations 7

 

 

When we are in class, please mute your microphone. Unmute your mic when you want to talk.

Don’t be shy. You can talk as much as you like.

Classes Monday to Friday

Our class is scheduled for 11:00-1:15- too long for Zoom

 

Zoom class from 11:00 to 12:00, then I will give some homework

 

Most schools are doing shorter classes like this.

 

You can use your mic to talk. Also, you have use the Chat box. We will use chat a lot in this class. -example sentences, ideas, questions, share ideas, examples, writing

Different than face-to-face, but it’s still very useful.

 

 

You should be hearing my voice. If you can’t hear my voice, you’ll have to figure out why. volume? mute?

- Composition 10 – writing sentence, paragraphs, essays, business letters, useful grammar

- Literary Studies 10 – poetry, short stories, novel?

- English Foundations 7 – for people who graduated high school already, anywhere in the world

Finish Comp.10, Lit.10 or EF7 – go to 11

You have only a few terms left at South Hill. Use them wisely. Pay attention. Learn as much as you can.

 

Don’t wait to start using English. Take your opportunities NOW to practice, learn and improve.

 

Hopefully, our hard work will be helpful to you. I think it will be. Don’t be shy to communicate. It is very important for you to get better that.
