IDIOM- the silent treatment – refusing to talk to someone

Dora’s husband forgot their 10th anniversary. His wife was very upset. She didn’t want to talk to him, so she gave him the silent treatment for several days before he figured out what was wrong.


IDIOM- the cold shoulder – ignoring someone “He is giving her the cold shoulder.“
