Not a question. Who was your friend? XXX
It is a different usage of ‘who’.

I like my uncle who is living in Australia.

Who in your family has allegies? Question, not an adjective clause.

I like my mom who is a daycare centre teacher lives in Korea.

Don’t’ cram too much into a sentence. Keep them simple and clear.

The man who delivered the package was wearing a mask.

** which – special thing, you decide,   unique
The water bottle that/which I have is clear plastic.
You wedding ring that/which your husband gave you is made of gold.
unique (only one)
The Eiffel Tower, which is in Paris, France, is made of iron.
 Use commas when something is unique.

The book which changed my life was called "Learning to Say Thank You.”   special to you
I lost the ring which my son gave to me.  very special to you
