EF3/4 May 6

Good morning.
We will get started at 11.
Today’s agenda:
1. Continue with compound sentences
We will have a quiz tomorrow.
2. Homework Read “Homeschooling”. I emailed this to you earlier this morning. Check your email. If you don’t have it, email me and I will email it to you.

Recipes homework – very good recipes
Shall we share them? Would you like to share them?
Let me know.

Plagiarism – copying sentences from a book or the internet and passing it in for marks. You can’t do that.
This a serious problem. Don’t do it.
In higher level classes, you will get a 0% for a mark, and the teacher has to write a letter that will go into your permanent file. If you cheat on a test twice, you may be asked to leave the school.
We are here to improve our English. Copying sentences and passing them in is a waste of time and energy.
I don’t want you to do that.
Compound Sentence Exercises

Create a compound sentence from the two sentences in each exercise. Use FANBOYS (SOBA).
FANBOYS for and nor but or yet so
SOBA so or but and VERY NATURAL-SOUNDING ENGLISH

Possible solutions:
