EF5/6 Special subject verb agreement words

This person is tall.
These people are tall.

collective nouns are singular
The class is/are working hard.
class, group, team, band, army, navy, air force, jury, crowd, audience (audio)

"The jury found the defendant not guilty."
"The jury was in agreement."
"The class is very hardworking."
"The members of the class are hardworking."
"The students in the class are busy."
"The crowd was very rambunctious."
"The young lads were very rambunctious at the football stadium."
lads = young guys

My guideline for numbers:
1-10 use the words.
