SIMPLE SENTENCES
subject + verb
Vancouver is a very beautiful city.

The dog and the cat play and eat together.

Other kinds of simple sentences
*Imperative sentence - command sentence
Come in.

Stop.
Be careful.

(You) Take your time.

Come in. "You" is implied, implied subject

*Interrogative sentence - question
You are tired.

Yes, she does. No, she doesn't.

* here/there -not subjects, they always point to something else
Here is your supper.

Eating too much before you go to sleep will cause you to have bad dreams.
