IMPORTANT   This is a lot to remember. One of the reasons people forget them is that they are not using very much English in their daily life. You can’t just study them. You have to use talking with people.

Simple Past tense stories

“A Centenarian Became a Celebrity”

cent (prefix) 100  - century, centimetre, percent 80%

centenarian- a person who is 100 years old, a 100-year-old person

 

octo-eight- octopus, octogon- like a stop sign, an eight-sided shape

octogenarian- a person who is 80 years old, a 80-year-old person

 

septegenarian- a person who is 70 years old, a 70-year-old person

 

sexagenarian - a person who is 60 years old, a 50-year-old person

 

 

Goalsetting- setting goals and making concrete plans for yourself for the next six weeks

Set realistic and achievable goals – work on them daily

 

Guitar playing- Goal #1 learning to play single notes lines between chords
