Vocabulary

1.    touch – smooth, rough, soft, hard, confortable, warm, cold, thick, thin, silky, like a baby’s bottom, abrasive

 

2. smell- onion, stinky, sweet, fresh, spicy, salty, earthy, bready, new-car smell, smoky, skunky, alcohol, hospital smell, disinfectant, swimming pool, BO- body odour

3. taste- salty, sweet, spicy, bitter, sour, fruity, fishy, hot

cooking meat – well done, medium, medium-rare, rare, blue

 

vegetarian

vegan – no animal products at all

 

4. sight – colour, shape, size

colour – blue- light blue, navy blue,sky blue, blueish green, robin’s egg blue, turqoise, pale blue

HOMEWORK

Describe your grandmother’s/mother’s face.

cheeks – pale, rosy, tanned, rough, like porcelain, smooth, colour

** Don’t write about how nice she was or what she did. Just write about how she looked, her face. Focus on that.
