Student Worker Position Available

 

South Hill Education Centre is looking for a regular, part-time student worker.  To apply, you must be a current student, studying  with VSB Adult Ed.

This position will continue to June of 2025.

Qualifications:

        Strong communication skills – both verbal and written

        Ability to effectively assist the office staff, students and instructors

        Working knowledge of courses and services provided by VSB Adult Education

        Good computer skills – familiar with a variety of programs (Office 365)

 

Work Details/Sample Duties

        Handling routine in person and telephone enquiries

        Filing /Photocopying

        Performing other related work as required

        Textbook collection and organization

        Handling private information

NOTE: Student workers must abide by the standards of all VSB employees regarding conduct, maintaining privacy and confidentiality, and contributing to a safe and supportive environment.

 

Hours

          12 hours per week, including evenings and Saturdays
