SV- subject verb

The cat is sleeping. SV present progressive/continuous verb tense

The cat sleeps on the bed. SV simple present verb tense

couch, sofa- three or four people can sit

2. laugh joke

I hear a joke, and I laugh. COMPOUND SENT

She is laughing at the joke. SV

We kid around in this class sometimes. We keep it light.

IDIOM light- not too serious, relaxed, fun

The children are playing soccer/tag/ tennis/hide-and-go-seek in the park. SV
