My Period 1 course has been changed from EF7/Eng10 to English Foundations 6/7, 9:15-11:30

There is still room in that class.

Presentations

You will pass in your two paragraphs at the beginning to the class of the day that you are presenting. Paragraphs are 100-150 ww each.

Paragraphs –       6 points

Spoken-                4 points

 

You will tell about the person and why they are important to you. We won’t read of the paper- just talking, communicating. (3-4 m)

 

This presentation is a great opportunity to bring your average up.

10pts

They are pretty easy points. Speaking in front of a group is stressful.

 

Public speaking is the #1 fear that most people have.

 

MY TRICK FOR PUBLIC SPEAKING OR PLAYING MUSIC:

There is no group; there are only individual’s listening to you.

 

 

 

 

Talking/Answering questions

Divide class into group of 4-5 people. Assign numbers

Give class an EASY, MEDIUM or CHALLENGING level question.

They chat in English in small groups.

Teacher circulates.

Each student chooses an EASY, MEDIUM or CHALLENGING level question.

The students gives a short answer (30s- 1m)
