You can get lost in your sentence if you get too complicated. Sometimes we think too much.

These are the example of sentences that have quoted words/material/text in them.

3.    The people of Cordoba said that the Wise Woman was “married to the devil” for she never had any relationship with any men.

Keep your quotations to just a few words- 2,3,4 words

You have to make a judgement call. Why are using these words? Are they your own words or are they words from the story?
