Simple Sentence
A simple sentence is one group of words that has a subject
and a verb and expresses a complete thought.
Different types
of simple sentences:
SV – 1 subject +
1 verb
SSV- 2 subjects
+ 1 verb
SVV- 1 subject
+ 2 verbs
Imperative
(command)- tell someone to do something
Interrogative
(question)- ask someone a question
* SV – 1 subject
+ 1 verb
Your friend
is beautiful/handsome.
Sarah does her homework at night.
Your brother
works in construction.
Begin with a
capital letter.
End with a
period.
