 Structure of a paragraph:

Grabber-  7 ways to choose from

Topic sentence- clear, connected to the question

 

Which article from UNDHR did you choose? Why?

 

Good topic sentence linked closely to the question

 

TS “I chose Article 19 which is about the right to education. I chose it for three reasons.”

 

Supporting sentences- 3-4 reasons why you chose that article

TRANSITION TERMS-

 

Concluding sentence- wrap up the paragraph, nice ending

“I hope that all people in the world will have access to education no matter their age, gender, or status.”

 

IMPORTANT – Quality of the sentences. SIMPLE COMPOUND COMPLEX

Every sentence that you write has to be simple, compound or complex.

Balance between the points. Make a more imprtant point a bt longer.

However, the points shopuld be balanced in length.

 

Don’t worry about the fancy vocab. I’m just talking about the organization of the paragraph.
