Contrast and repetition of the verbs ‘want to go’ and ‘have to go’

I want to go to school, but I am too busy. OK, not as elegant

VARIATIONS:

I want to go to school, but I am busy.

I want to go to school, but I am busy with kids/work/housework/errands.

 

errands – busy making stops, buying things, going to different places

I have been running errands all day, so I am tired now.

errands – idiom ‘running around’

I have been running around all day, so I want to go home now.

VARIATIONS:
I can read in Arabic, and I can write in French.

Maria reads science books, and she writes papers.

Directions: Add a clause to each simple sentence to create a compound sentence. Use FANBOYS or SOBA.
