Monday is a holiday – Easter Monday

Easter weekend

We’ll be back in Zoom class on Tuesday at 11.

Last day of class will be next Friday.

How will we get out report cards?

How will we register for our next courses?

What will happen with our April to June class?

What will happen with summer courses?

Answer: We don’t know yet.

Jesus was buried for three day

Easter Monday- came to life

ancient Spring celebration – new life, rebirth

flowers blooming, cherry blossoms, buds on trees are sprouting

symbols of Easter

– rabbits, symbols of fertility, lots of babies

- eggs , symbols of new life, birds, turtles

chocolate eggs, chocolate rabbits

nothing to do with Christianity or Jesus Christ, these are ancient symbols, predate monotheism (religions with one God)

Easter – estra , estrogen

estrogen – hormone that help girls become women

testosterone – hormone that helps boys turn into men

feminine symbol of new life, rebirth

Easter happens around the equinox – when the nights and days are about the same length

equinox – equi – equal, same amount
