Microsoft Word is best for this class because I can mark your papers and give feedback easily.

If you don’t have MSWord, you can use Wordpad if you are using a PC.

You can use TextEdit if you are using a Mac.

Wordpad and TextEdit come with your operating system. You do not have to buy it.

If you trouble, let me know and can figure it out.

1.   My home is in East Vancouver. It is 32-year-old house.

capitals and periods

neighborhood – South Vancouver, Kerrisdale, Kitsilano

proper nouns – names, city, country, day of the week, month of the year

“I” -first person pronoun

“you” “he” “she” is not capitalized

It is a 32-year-old house.

hyphen –

‘one-hour’ is describing ‘class’, like an adjective which describes a noun
