SIMPLE PRESENT- habitual action, everyday, usually, often

SIMPLE PAST- one event in the past, finished

Two ways to make
simple future tense. For EF23, they are about the same.

going to- already planned it, already have a plan, decided already

decide right now, decide at the moment
