·      Midterm recommendations (first half of the class in alphabetical order)

The recs willed be based on quizzes, tests, and spoken. Plus, I will  make comments of strengths and challenges.

·      Begin complex sentence- because,if ,when

Friday

·      Talk about registration process, how to register

·      Midterm recommendations (second half of the class in alphabetical order)

* First day of early registation for summer term

“Going to the Hairdresser”

4. cap-a covering for your hair  He wears a shower cap. She wears a swimming cap. He wears a baseball cap with a brim. She is wearing a sun hat. He is wearing a fedora.

5.comb A comb has teeth.

6.foil – aluminum foil

9.perm – permanent curl, lasts several months  If you cover meat with aluminum foil when it is cooking, it be very tender.

10.mousse- foam for your hair,  chocolate mousse-dessert

He shaves once every two days.

16. blow dry- You use a hair dryer to dry your hair after you wash it.

If you dry slices of beef, you get beef jerky.
