Sometimes, it seems people are writing sentences in English not having used much English.

People are writing English while looking through the lens of their first language. This is a natural and predictable problem. You have to work to overcome it.
We can have several modes of being. – two brains – Farsi brain, English brain, Japanese mind, English mind
I admire you all so much for doing this work. This is hard work. When you six years old, it is much easier. At 25 or 35 or 65, it is so much harder. We can still make good progress.
I have played (the) guitar since I was 13 years old. I feel like I have improved a lot over the last year because of daily practice and focus. I’m 53.
