Practice simple and compound sentences. We are at the first level of understanding them. You must practice them a lot to be able to write them consistently. 

I practice guitar every day. I have playing for 40 years.

You have been writing sentences with semicolons for five days; you need practice. You don’t have them down yet.



Verbs followed by  gerunds or infinitives.


HW Try some of these exercises for homework. We can look at some together on Monday. Try some of your own as well.
