simple

You have to be able to write these.
Fundamental skills for us
sentence combining – put this knowledge and skills into practice
Two choices besides Simple sentences:
(often Simple sentences are not possible when conveying a lot of dense information)
1. coordination – co together, cooperate, coworker
two things on the same level
coordinate clauses – two clauses on the same level of importance
Compound sentences AAAA , SOBA CCCC.
AAAA; TRANS, CCCC.
2. subordination – sub, lower, subway, substitute
two things not on the same level
subordinated clauses – adverb, adjective, and noun clauses
Complex sentences
We can either coordinate information or subordinate information.
We have to be conscious about this. When we are writing, we have to decide what kind of sentence we want to write: simple, compound, complex.
If you don’t decide what kind of sentence you want to write, your sentence may turn out to be a mess.
Sentence combining allows us opportunity to practice this.
Your examples of #2 from Homework – Type your answer in Chat, and tell us what kind of sentence you wrote: simple, compound, complex.
