Begin with a topic sentence. It addresses the question.
Question: Why did you move to Canada?
Topic sentence: I moved to Canada for several reasons.
Topic sentence: I moved to Canada because I wanted to help my
family.
Be careful of writing off-topic. Stick to the topic.
Supporting sentences:
3,4,5 sentences – give reasons, give details
Concluding sentence- wrap-up, ends the paragraph
e.g. I am glad that we came to Canada.

The sentences that we have studied so far:

**Every sentence has to be one of those. If not, it is not
English.
This is our goal to reach proficiency in writing and speaking
these sentence types.
