Descriptive writing

A big challenge is vocabulary.

Did you use a thesaurus?

-gives synonyms and antonyms

 

 

Listening game

 

-         spread the pictures out

-         Read the desc paragraphs out loud.

-         Listen. Big ears.

-         Guess what picture the reader is talking about.

I will put a picture on the screen. You can brainstorm vocabulary about it.

Write a nice paragraph describing what is in the picture. You can describe the whole picture of focus on one area of it.
