In Canada, the weekend is Saturday and Sunday. In Iran, the weekend is just Friday. In China, the weekend is just Sunday.

 

Some people work seven days a week.

Present progressive verb tense

I am going to work now.

The kid is cycling around the park.

They are swimming in the ocean/lake/pond.

The ducks are swimming in the pond.

QUICK REVIEW OF VERB TENSES that we have studied

SIMPLE PRESENT          I play in the park.

SIMPLE PAST                 I played in the park.

SIMPLE FUTURE           I will play in the park.

PRESENT PROGRESSIVE        I am playing in the park.

 

SIMPLE PRESENT          She swims in the pool.
