OPTION FOR SIMPLE SENTENCES WITH TRANSITIONAL TERMS

A TRANS TERM
Even if you don’t want to use semicolons much, you can still
use the transitional words.
Semicolons are not used that often.
I like dogs, but she likes cats. COMPOUND
I like dogs. But she likes cats. XXX too casual for
school writing,
MY ADVICE: Avoid beginning sentences with SOBA. It sounds
too casual for school or any more formal situation.
You have to choose your level of formality based on the
situation.
Good writing and speaking gives you power.
