INDENT

Sometimes I am asked the question; why did you come to Vancouver? I answer that Vancouver is the best place to live. But, there are more reasons for this. RW First of all, I got a work permit via the working holiday program. Therefore, there was no reason not to come to Canada. And Then, I came to Vancouver because the city is close to ABCLand compared to the other cities. Another reason is that I wanted to live a more leisurely life. I worked around 10 hours a day and I have chronic stress in the workplace. I thought I need time for both work and other aspects of life, so I came to Vancouver. In conclusion, coming to Vancouver was a great choice not only for living but also for a good work-life balance.

INDENT

I have never thought about myself to come back to Vancouver. RW However, when there is a serious change of ABCLand laws and it would be an impact to my son’s future. FRAG I decided to take my sons to come to Vancouver. Here are some reasons. To beginning with the freedom of speech, ABCLand people has no longer for that, I can’t accept our next generation live in the place which can’t express their thinking and ideas. Also, my sons age group is in danger in ABCLand. ABCLand police have been arrested so many young people. Some are even worked in the government and they are educated and professional. People say: Young is sin. How shameful! Furthermore, ABCLand traditional education system are bad. Most of the school are result oriented. The school give pressure to teachers and they transfer it to students and parents. Parent need to spend extra money to find a good tutor for children and the children need to go to tutor after school. This is tiring and stressful thing for them. In short, my son is working in DEF City, he told me that he is doing well to his job. I just feel happy for him. Young people deserve freedom and live without fear. I hope that I made a right decision to come to Vancouver.

“Vancouver is the best place to live in the world.” I have heard about this many times such as on TV, articles, and more.

I have some reasons that I choose to come to Vancouver. First of all, I like the weather in summer here; also, I like to live in a place which has four seasons like my country, ABCLand. I really love the weather in summer in Vancouver REP ; it is not too hot, and not humid compared to ABCLand. Next, I like to go snowboarding during the winter. Vancouver has easy access to one of the most famous mountains for skiers and snowboarders, Whistler. However, I did not think about living in Whistler. Another important reason why I came to Vancouver is because it is a multicultural city, and people are very friendly and nice. I have been living in Vancouver for more than ten years, and I am convinced that I picked the right place.

My points above lead me to conclude that Vancouver is one of the best places to live, and these are the reasons I came to Vancouver.

Why did I came to Vancouver-it is a good question.  PUNC

Why did I came to Vancouver? It is a good question.  I heard that question many times ever since I came to Canada.  When my husband and I decided to move to Canada from ABCLand, we never heard about Vancouver. But, RW we had a very clever and a good friend, who told us to consider to land in Vancouver.  He said that Vancouver is the young and developing city in Canada, and it will be easy to find a job.  And Another reason to choose Vancouver city FRAG; it is the the warmest big city in Canada and has wild nature WF  beauty.  Our friend told us that his high school friend with his family from DEFLand moved to Vancouver a few years ago. And they are very nice people who could help us around when we arrive in Vancouver. He gave us the reference letter to his friend, and his Vancouver phone number.  Since we did not have any family and friends in Canada, we took his advice, his reference letter with phone number, and we came to Vancouver in November 1995.  What were happened with us later –it was a different story. The time is flying, but it seems like it was yesterday. This is my story of why we came to Vancouver.

I am Studying CAP EF6 this summer for a few reasons. First of all, I just passed my EF5. If I stop, I will forget everything I have learned. I am determent ‘determined’ SP to learn, and want to see how far I can go. Therefore, learning English is important for me. Secondly, summer’s course is very short, so I want to get a head start for September term. I can’t afford to take a time off, PUNC because my reading and writing are quiet slow. In addition, I feel that mine ‘my’ PRON English is improving; however, WW I took EF6 in this summer. In conclusion, my determination is to improve my reading and writing, and getting a head starts in September term.

Looks good on the page

I have been in Vancouver for more than ten years. Many friends always questioned: Why did you come here? Are you happy in Vancouver? I gave them a certain answer: I love Vancouver for three reasons. First of all, Vancouver has good weather. For example, the temperature is comfortable in four seasons: the high temperature is 22c in summer and low is 3c in winter on average, even if MEANING? we don’t need an air conditioner. Second, there are many beautiful views in Vancouver. Vancouver is located beside the ocean, and we can see many sights of the seashore. For instance, Stanley Park, UBC Wreck Beach, and English Bay are famous scenic spots in the world. The last reason is the most important, my kids can have a happy childhood here. We have a kind neighborhood, and the school education encourages my kids to keep the anger ‘eager’ WW of exploring science. Furthermore, the government has many benefits for raising kids. Therefore, I believe my kids can have a good education and thrive here. All in all, I love Vancouver, so I will work hard to give my family a good future.

RW into a paragraph

How lucky I am to choose Vancouver as a city to live in.

Before I landed in Canada, I was aware of the climate in different parts of it. As

my family and I were born and raised in a city with temperate climate, we preferred

Vancouver which has a temperate climate and a very beautiful nature.

Meanwhile we had a chance to visit Toronto during a short trip. Although lots of my fellow

ABCians live there, I found there a boring city at that time; 15 years ago.

During last ten years I fell in love with Vancouver.  Amazing  nature scenery  and well

organized urban  infrastructures make this city an extraordinary place to live.

Whereas, the advantages of Vancouver are a lot, I like to use this opportunity to

complain about two weak points.

It is an expensive city to live that in my belief, worth to this level of life quality; however ,the

city hall can reconsider about some little expenses which interferes with people’s daily life a lot; in particular, parkings tickets. I think free parking lots should be more available. It gives Vancouver residents the opportunity to explore different tourist attractions of this city more and more.

Also, attracts more tourists from other parts and motivates them to stay for a longer time; accordingly,

Helps overall city economy.

My other concern is the situation of homeless people in east Hastings. I can’t realize how the

wealthy government of BC can’t manage this chaos in a way that not only help this unfortunate

people but also treat this beautiful city eye sore.

Although I know, I might go a little bush around, I preferred to bring up some debatable subjects.

Do you know how to manage your time to achieve your goal in a short time? I am attending EF6 class this summer because I want to take this level in a short time; I have free time and am sure I can do it, and manage my time. My goal is to finish high school as soon as possible, so I planned to get it done. EF6 class gives me this opportunity; Therefore, passing this semester in a month is a great job. I am glad to take this opportunity. When I saw my teacher's name, I became even happier because Allan has a special teaching style that I like. For example: I had many English teachers, but Allan can give his students information easily. In addition, the EF6 class time as we know is in the summer and taking advantage of this time will be amazing. We can have fun in the summer because it is a time of joy, however, we can make use of this time. At the least, my class manages my daily time in a great way. Getting up early, reviewing the latest information, and preparing for the class gives me more time to put my day in order. After my class, I take a rest, then do my homework if I have one.
