IMPORTANT   This is a lot to remember. One of the reasons people forget them is that they are not using very much English in their daily life. You can’t just study them. IMO (In my opinion), you have to use them talking with people.

 

Let’s practice writing a few sentences using simple past verb tense.

EXAMPLES:

Sarah tried writing/to write an email to her friend last night.

He tried fixing/to fix the toaster.

I got it! I understand.

Did you get the milk? I got it.

I did. I didn’t.

She considered/thought about going to the US.
