Use it for your own plans or for your children, friends, relatives.

In-demand jobs- skilled trades- electrician, plumber, drywaller, HVAC (furnace repair, air mechanic), mechanic, carpenter, welder, hairdresser

Canada has a huge demand for skilled trades.

-a serious shortage of skilled trades in Canada and the US

Career opportunities. Good money!

In Canada, there is a big push to get young people into skilled trades. In Canada, there is a huge push to get young women into skilled trades.

MY ADVICE:

Start thinking about it. Start planning.

You can do it. There is a lot of opportunity.

It will be difficult and expensive, but you can do it.

In Canada, a lot of adults go to post-sec either part-time or full-time. It is not unusual for adults to go back to college or university. It might not be as common in your home country.

Survival jobs- just to make $$, not the dream, not your longterm goal

The dream is achievable.

Our SHEC academic advisors are very knowledgeable and helpful.

-         Sylvia, Joanne, Jacquie, Dana

Colleges and universities have their own academic advisors.

Call and make an appointment.

** MY OPINION**

Private colleges- Alexander College, University Canada West, Lasalle, etc.

Public institutions- VCC, UBC, BCIT, Douglas, Kwantlen, etc.

-public- harder to get into, higher-quality, less expensive, good reputation

-private- easy to get into, lower-quality, more expensive, questionable reputation

My free advice is to go to public schools.
