present progressive/continuous- happening right now

Jun is reading a book at the moment/right now.

We are going over this verb tense.

He is thinking about the presentation.

just right now-not forever, sounds temporary

 

**We are studying English for three years.

We have been studying English for three years. present perfect progressive

 

*present progressive- means happening right now- sounds temporary

He is drinking his coffee. right now, temporary, not forever

 

 

 

Jun lives in Vancouver. simple present- sounds permanent

She is living in Vancouver. present progressive- sounds temporary
