BC Ministry of Education rules:
-English Foundations 7 (EF7) is for Graduated Adults. A
Graduated Adult is a person who has finished high school anywhere in the world.
-Composition and Literary Studies 10 (used to be called
English 10) are for people who have not finished high school anywhere in the
world.
e.g. under 19, students who turned 19 and ‘aged out’ of
regular high school in Vancouver, left high school for many reasons: family
trouble; health problems- physical, psychological- depression, anxiety, etc;
war in their country; political unrest; not a safe country; got a job to
support their family; not allowed to go or were not able to go to school when
they were young

I do an online Advanced Sentence Structure Tutorial every
November-January, Quarter 2, on Tuesday nights 4:30-5:15pm on Zoom. I usually
do nine or ten sessions. I will post the Zoom link on my blog in late October.

MY ADVICE:
Start thinking about it. Start planning.
You can do it. There is a lot of opportunity.
It will be difficult and expensive, but you can do it.
A lot of adults go to post-sec either part-time or
full-time. It might not be as common in your home country.
Survival jobs- just to make $$, not the dream
The dream is achievable.
