FINAL FREE ADVICE: Keep at it! Make a plan. Follow the plan. Practice every day whether there is a teacher or not. Practice every day whether there is a class or not.

My 10-year plan is to get better every day at playing music. I practice guitar, mandolin, or pedal steel guitar every day, usually twice a day.

My 10-year plan is to get good as I can at music for when I retire. When I retire, I want to do music full-time.

I am four years into my 10-year plan. I have six more years to prepare. I feel pretty good about it. It is going well.

This is my plan.

What is your plan? You should have a plan. If you do not have a plan, then you are a leaf in the wind.
