He reads aimlessly for a few minutes, not thinking about the ideas.
A vague hunger has begun to gnaw at him.
He mumbles, "Time for a little break" to himself and heads to the kitchen.
After a half hour passes with no one at the desk, he finally returns and decides to study in bed where he can concentrate better.
He wonders where he should start with the three textbooks at his bedside; also, he wonders why school is so hard as his eyes slowly close into sleep.
