Mix long and short sentences. Create a variety of lengths in your sentences.

Have a variety of styles- vary lengths of sentences.

Mix the sentence styles up. A little bit of this- a little bit of that.

Short, choppy simple sentences- not beautiful, or elegant.

The park is alive with motion today. Joggers pound up and down the boardwalk.

Joggers pound up and down the boardwalk in the park which is alive with motion today.

The park is alive with joggers pounding up and down the boardwalk today.

Old folks watch them from the benches while couples who row boats which are green and wooden across the lake.

Old folks watch them from the benches while couples row green wooden boats across the lake.

Sentence combining exercises!! Very useful for becoming comfortable building sentences. It is the best way to learn how to write sentences.
