EF2/3 verbs followed by infinitives and gerunds

1. We started to move to a new house.

3. I hate driving a car.
I hated to drive.
I hate driving my kids everywhere.
4. I prefer to do homework rather than housework.
I would prefer to do homework over housework.
5. I like doing the laundry more than washing the dishes.
I prefer reading a book rather than a newspaper.
6. My dog loves to eat slices of apples.
You love to eat spicy food.
I love eating Ethiopian food.
