-‘agenda’- used for meetings, school, business or government
-the things that we are going to do, talk about, plan,

Strata council meetings- homeowners meet to discuss the

**Parking**
Scan the QR code on the pink piece of paper.
Put it your licence plate.

Scan and enter once. Parking is good until August 31, 2025. You
will be able to park in the SHEC parking lot until August 31, 2025.

*If you brought your car, sign up in the app asap so that
you do not get a ticket. Your car will probably not get towed away. I have
never a tow truck in the parking lot at SHEC. Plenty of people have gotten
tickets.

Personal Digital Device Usage
Personal digital device- phone, tablet, laptop
“To foster a safe and focused learning environment for
students, the use of personal digital devices, that distract from learning,
such as cell phones, tablets and electronic devices, are restricted during
school hours and on school property. Educators and school staff will continue
to model digital citizenship in the classroom and avoid the use of personal
digital devices for non-instructional purposes.”

Personal digital devices must be turned off or placed on
silent mode before entering the classroom and remain silent during
instructional time. Personal digital
devices are not permitted for use during class/instructional time unless an
educator has given permission.
The use of personal devices is permitted under the following
circumstances:
For educational purposes, as directed by the educator in the
classroom.
For health and medical purposes as outlined in an Individual
Education Plan or Student Safety Plan.
To support special or diverse educational needs, such as
assistive technology related to Individual Education Plans or Student Support
Plans.
The expectation is that students will follow the personal
digital device policy and school guidelines.
This is mortly aimed at K-12 students, teenagers. Adults
have this problem, too.

-Instagram
Be careful! These are highly addictive. They are designed to
be time users/wasters. Somebody is making $ from your time and attention.
*** IMPORTANT ***
Cell phones or other electronic devices are not allowed
during quizzes and test. They must be put away, out of sight. If it’s out
visible on the table, the school policy is to give a 0 for the quiz or test. If
you forget, then remember. Put it away in your pocket, in your bag.

important, let me know.

It’s on the course handout. I will didtribute the course
handout in a few minutes.
You do not have to make notes as we go because everything on
the screen will go onto the blog. Neverthless, making notes during class is an
excellent way to improve retention. The best students usually make notes during
a class or lecture. They review their notes on their own afterward, within 24
hours. It refreshes the knowledge. It helps to make the new information
permanent.
