-the most used nouns and verbsin authentic English-newspapers, magazines, books

EF4 – You will know most of these. There probable will be some unfamilair vocab words.

 

noun – person, place, thing, or idea

verb- action words, state of being

 

verbs- 4. say – basic form, base form, first form- to say

simple past- said

simple present- will say

US- The United States

state- part of  country- In the US, there are 50 states.

Canada- 10 provinces and 3 territories

Japan has prefectures.

China has provinces.

Afghanistan has 34 provinces.

Mexico and Venezuala have states.

 

22.case- The police opened a case on the robbery. The homeowner got a case number.

The lawyer is always busy with her caseload. The police have a heavy caseload.

Sentence styles:

**PRO TIP – If you have something really important to say, use a simple sentence.

-COMPLEX

- adverb clauses   because   when   if   unless   although   until   after

- noun clauses    TODAY, this week

- adjective clauses   later this week and next week

 

 

Noun clauses – use these everyday

-used with verbs that have to do with thinking or your brain/mind:

‘think’, ‘know’, ‘understand’, ‘believe’, ‘realize’, ‘feel’, ‘remember’, ‘forget’

 

-also verbs about talking/speech: ‘say’, ‘whisper’, ‘tell’, ‘yell’, ‘shout’

To write a noun clause take an “A” and put it with a “B” word.
