Ending a price with .99 increases sales. It is a psychological trick.

If you see $599, you will think 5 not 6.

Marketing uses lots of psychological tricks to get you to spend more.

She is a buyer for a restaurant.

My friend is a wine and spirits buyer for some resorts on Vancouver Island.

He went shopping, but he didn’t buy anything. He was just browsing. He was window shopping.

She got her temporary driver’s licence today. Her actual licence will arrive in a couple weeks.

 

*shelf – storage rack, bookshelf

 

MY ADVICE: Slow down. Pronounce every word. Pronunce every part of every word.

My music teacher says to practice slow so that we can play fast.

Can I pay (with) cash? I will pay (with) cash.

Can I pay cash? Can I pay in cash? Can I pay with cash?

We only take cash or debit.
