Canada is a metric country; however, we still use Imperial
measurements for a lot of things.
Imperial – measurement – mile, foot, inch, gallon, pound
The US uses the Imperial system.
It’s easy to forget these details when you are focussed on
writing.
I will keep reminding you.
When the formatting is right, it looks better.
