EF3/4 Sentence types

Sentence types-

SIMPLE
"Maria likes ice cream."
subject + verb

COMPOUND
"Maria likes ice cream. Mark likes cake."
"Maria likes ice cream, but Mark likes cake."
"Maria likes ice cream; however, Mark likes cake."

COMPLEX
adverb clauses
Joan is carrying her umbrella because it is raining.

adjective clauses
Joan who lives across the street from me is very friendly.

noun clauses
Joan thinks that it will rain tomorrow.
