Why did you come to Canada?

 

OPTION1   I have three reasons why I came to Canada.

OPTION2   There are three reasons why I decided to leave my home country and move to Canada.

 

First of all /First / Firstly, I wanted to have more freedom and less government control over me. In Canada, we have freedom of speech and freedom of religion, for example. Secondly, I wanted to have some opportunity for education. In Canada, both and adults and children can

go to school. Also, women can go to school equal to men. In my home country, women could not always go to school. Third / Finally / Last, I wanted to live in a place that has fresh air. In my home country, the air is dirty. It is hard to breathe because of the pollution. I’m glad I came to Canada even though I miss my home country.
