COMPLEX
Complex
sentences are made of an independent clause (same as a simple sentence) and one
or two dependent clauses.
Dependent
clauses can be adverb clauses, adjective clauses, or noun clauses. You probably
have studied these in earlier courses.
Examples of complex sentences with adverb clauses:
