Nellie McClung fought for women’s right to vote in Canada. There was a group called “The Famous Five”. They wanted equal rights for women.

foreshadowing- hints and clues in the story, you can guess what’s going to happen

7.    How does Mr. Wei act toward his students? Why does he act this way?

-         strict

inch – 2.54 cm in an inch, yard- 3 feet, approx. 1 metre

Why?

-when he realizes he was the one who carved the characters

He had to decide what to do. confess or just ignore it
